Admissions to The Portland Hospital
Pre-operative assessments are done remotely by The PreAssessment Nurses (020 7182 7709 or 020 7390 6228). They will contact you directly.
Both parents are allowed to attend with their child but only one parent is allowed to stay in hospital for an overnight admission.
Admissions to Great Ormond Street Hospital
Patients must attend the Hospital for a pre-operative assessment 1-2 days before admission. The Hospital will contact you directly with appointment times and details.
Both parents are allowed to attend with their child but only one parent is allowed to stay in hospital over an overnight admission.
If your child requires an operation, Angela/Maria will be able to provide the relevant procedure codes and fees, etc, to pass on to your insurers. If you are self-paying, we will get a quote from the relevant hospital for you.
Note: The Hospitals require settlement of their fees prior to admission. Mr Hartley & the Anaesthetist’s fees are invoiced separately.
